Greetings from the NAACP Center for Health Equity!
On March 23rd, we celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The ACA is a transformational law that continues to improve health access for millions of people. As the fight for the ACA continues with the expiration of premium tax credits looming, we want to better understand the health needs of our communities. To do that, we are conducting the ACE Your Health Community Wellness Survey.
The ACE Your Health Community Wellness Survey takes approximately ten minutes to complete and asks questions about your neighborhood resources and assets, health and health care, neighborhood quality and affordability, and most importantly—you! Now more than ever, we need to ensure we create the data that captures our stories and gives us the tools to drive change and meaningful impact.
Once you’ve completed the survey, we ask that you share the survey as widely as you can. Some examples of who you can share it with are any civic organizations you might belong to, social groups you are part of, and even friends and family. Our goal is to complete 12,000 surveys across the nation! Together, we can meet this goal and beyond.
